Troubleshooting
6-8 BASIC OPERATION GUIDE
Remove paper from Top
tray. Press GO
The Output Tray capacity has been exceeded during printing.
There are 250 sheets in the Output Tray.
There are 150 sheets in the Output Tray and the optional Job
Separator is installed.
There are 100 sheets in the Output Tray and the optional Finisher
is installed.
Remove the output.
Press [Printer] and press S or T to select [GO].
Press [Enter]. Printing will resume.
To cancel printing, select [CANCEL] and press [Enter].
Remove paper from
Finisher.
Press START key.
There are 250 sheets in the optional Finisher during copying.
Remove the output.
Remove paper from
Finisher. Press GO
There are 250 sheets in the optional Finisher during printing.
Remove the output.
Press [Printer] and press S or T to select [GO].
Press [Enter]. Printing will resume.
To cancel printing, select [CANCEL] and press [Enter].
Paper capacity
exceeded. Remove
paper from Job
Separator.
There are already 100 sheets of paper stored on the optional job
separator.
Remove the output.
Paper misfeed in
Finisher, lower Process
Tray and remove paper.
Paper has jammed in the optional Finisher.
Remove the output.

Stapling of small paper, such as 5
1/2 ×81/2" (Statement), A5R,
and B5R, is not possible.
System error.
Main switch off / on.
This message displays when a malfunction or communication
error during printer processing has occurred.
Switch off the main power (
{). If the machine is printing,
cancel the job from the computer.
Wait over five seconds and then switch on the main power ( | ).
The error is cleared. If necessary, resubmit the print job.
RAM disk error Press
GO
An error has occurred in writing to or reading from the RAM disk.
Press [Printer] and press S or T to select [GO] and press
[Enter]. The error is cleared.
